Just installed the AmFilm glass protector for my new Samsung galaxy S24 Ultra. Even came with a camera protector! Overreach, this is a very slick screen protector. Very easy to install and it works great so far. Hopefully I will not have to test it out but it feels great and looks good. Covers all the way to the edge!

Welcome to AC!
Glad you like the screen protector, I use White Stone Dome it's very good and accurate with the fingerprint scanner

Just remember that a screen protector will mostly just protect your phone from scratches and not breaks. I saw YT video once where they installed a screen protector and then hit the screen with a hammer and were shocked that the screen shattered.

I just installed the privacy one, and simple as simple can be... no bubbles at all... however...

I'm sure it's due to the privacy aspect, but I now have a somewhat grainy, pixelated display.

So, I took it off, and ordered their regular glass protector.

But 100% agree... one of, if not the, easiest screen protectors I've ever put on a phone or tablet.

I agree that the AmFilm screen protecter works great. It went on perfectly without any bubbles at all. The only thing was I put it on the first night I got my ultra and it got a crack across the whole screen after only 2 days. I have no idea how that happened. I have an otter box defender case and I'm extremely careful with my phone. The good thing is it comes in a two pack so I took the cracked one off and replaced it with the second one. I have that one on since without a scratch. So maybe the first one was just defective. But I like the feel of the screen so much I would replace it with the AmFilm again if this one cracks.

Is it possible that the case caused the screen protector to crack?

It is possible but the case doesn't touch the edge of the protector so I don't think so. I have had the second one since January without an issue. Maybe it got bumped in my pocket is the only thing I can think of. I didn't drop it at all.

I had tempered glass installed, but that cracked in 1 month, as I have taken samsung care plus
I removed the tempered glass
Tempered glass dint help with Anti reflective Coating
Now iam using my screen with zero protection and love the touch n feel and anti reflective Coating

Welcome to the forums at Android Central!

I was thinking about getting one of those, but one of my cases came with 2 tempered glass protectors.

One was broken on arrival, I already broke the 2nd at work, so I got the ESR privacy protector (see pics), I like it, but since I'm not used to privacy protectors, there are times I want to take it off and put a regular one or go naked.

I have used whitestone dome glass before on a few of my phones, but I also have used several phones naked, but since I work in construction, I guess naked is out of the question.

I know this is an old thread but how are you people with glass screen protectors getting your finger print sensor to work after installing it? I 1st tried Whitestone dome glass cause that is what i had on my other phones. I went into settings and turned on the fingerprint sensor to be more sensitive, installed the screen protector and my fingerprint sensor didn't work at all, nothing, zilch.. It was the same results when I ordered the Amfilm glass screen protector. So I ordered the non reflective screen protector from samsung and that's what I have on now but I am not a fan. Thinking of just removing it and going without.

Try deleting and redoing your finger prints. That is what I did when I put on the Amfilm glass screen protector. I do not have any issues now unless I've just washed my hands then it takes a few trys.

tried that. It didn't work. No matter how hard i pressed it would not read my fingerprint at all.

That is because displays have gotten a lot better in the past several years. The screens are actually tougher than the screen protecters. The S24 displays are rated at around 7 Mohs. That means you need an object harder than a sapphire to scratch the screen. The amount of force it takes to crack an S24 display is much higher, let alone the amount it takes to shatter one. That's not saying it is impossible, just saying that is getting much more difficult to crack a modern smartphone display. Yes, just the right amount of force in the right spot will crack an S24 display. At that point a screen protector won't be much good anyway. A decent case is really all most people need.

Tried the amfilm glass and took it back off since I want my fingerprint to work all the time. I just use a film screen protector any more. Used the amfilm for a while on my s21U and just got used to my fingerprint not working all the time.

Another plus for the Amfilm... I just noticed what appeared to be a long hair on the screen, but it wasn't, it was a crack. Looking closer I could see an impact point right on the edge of the protector. Here is a picture of the cracked screen protector, and not a mark on the actual screen.
