Hey guys, so I installed CM 10.1.1 a few days ago. Lots of things to like here, but bluetooth has been a big disappointment. Frequent disconnects, wonky behavior, even a few crashes. Some googling gives me the impression that Bluetooth has been a source of problems on Cyanogenmod, but it seems like recent updates in 10.1 apparently fixed most of that.

Is anyone else having these issues, or is it just me? If this is "normal" then I definitely have to flash back to a Touchwiz ROM because I use BT too much to put up with these flaky issues. Thanks,

Bluetooth has long been an issue with CM or any AOSP based ROM. Its usually one of the last things to get worked out or abandoned totally back in the early history of CM/AOSP ROMs. If the carrier and/or OEM isn't willing to make the proper firmware available then its up to the devs to try and hack it to get it working and its never a promise at that point that it will function 100% as expected.

Bluetooth for headsets is a known Cm10.1 bug and I think it affects all our most devices. Going back to a Touchwiz ROM might be your only option if Bluetooth is essential.

Darn, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the feedback though. Yeah, I just use BT too much to put up with this which is a shame because there's some cool stuff in CM. (I've used CM before but it's been a few years)
