i havent lost signal due to the gnex yet(verizon is another story).....i get extremely good battery life, and i use the hell out of my phone....my only complaint would be it takes effort to get a good pic indoors.....im sure some work on the camera software via update can fix that.....you hear the people who are having problems on forums and it would seem they are a majority....but theyre is lot of us who have experienced none of the issues others keep talking about.

You will enjoy it. I don't suffer all of the problems that some people suffer. There has been ZERO, ZIP lag in ANYTHING. This phone is screaming fast. I don't care what "reviewer" said it had lag, but this phone is screaming fast. In games, in app drawer, in anything. I don't care about stupid benchmarks. It's screaming fast. The camera is great. Zero shutter lag is huge. It feels like a real camera in that sense. I used to care about it not having a "1.5" dual core, but honestly, it's so fast for whatever I need it for and that is what matters.

The singular, sole issue I have with it is signal. I'm hoping they fix it. It's not related to bars, it's actual dBM. I pull down 1 MBPS with this phone where I used to get triple with my Droid X. Something is wrong with that.

But you have to remember that not everyone's experience is the same -- look at battery life, for instance -- so to start second guessing your decision based on the experience of others isn't really fair to you. Otherwise, you're going to convince yourself that the phone isn't for you before you even start really using it.

LOL. that was funny. i put that down when everyone was having a fit over the specs. i get it totally and want it but i dont want my desire to finally have a nexus phone to cloud my judgment. it seems though the phone is good enough but i dont think anyone will say it was a slamming success. not by sales just quality performance and features.

but for real, get the phone, at least put it through the 14 day return period. I think you'll be happy with it, especially if you're a flasher. I haven't experienced any problems with battery or data. Seems to be hit or miss.

I just remember you're sig from pre-release and you were all about the Nexus. Don't change your mind without giving it a shot.
