Just ordered a new Nexus 5

So I've had my white 16GB Nexus 5 since launch day. I've had a Spiegen Ultra Slim case on it since day one as well. Turns out that it is drop proof 99% of the time. I dropped the phone after checking what time it was and was startled by a dog and a person running. Shattered screen, broken display. Chips everywhere! I just got my CC renewed and new card in the mail. Guess it's time to work on my credit score. Buying wireless charger on top of it. I really hope nothing else goes wrong because it just seems like it's one of those raining/pouring moments. Thanks for letting me rant.

Got shipping info last night at 1:47 am. The new phone is enroute already and scheduled for today. I guess that is a step forward. Brightening up!!!

Tech21 makes great cases for the Nexus 5 and offer excellent protection.

I did actually go to the Spiegen Slim Ultra case with the metal sides. Looks OK and seems pretty sufficient.

Post pics of the phone and case. I'm using a Spigen Slim Armor case (white) on my white 32gb Nexus 5 but the screen is shattered. I'm looking at ordering a new one here in the next week or so I would think.

That looks pretty bad. I had the matte smoke grey one and it never got any scratches on it.

That's why I use the Ringke Fusion Crystal View clear case that has raised corners so the back never touches anything.
