Just Ordered the Bionic this morning

The rep just called me back and said they were opening up pre-orders as of 8 am. He put in an order for me with overnight shipping.

Unfortunately he was unable to waive the early upgrade fee but he credited my monthly bill for the amount anyways.

Made 2 calls this morning. First one to telesales. They told me they would call me at 8am tomorrow to get the order in. Then I called customer support. He told me that they were not preordering.

They really don't have their act together. My first call the rep said not until tomorrow. I called back 10 minutes later and now the rep is telling me no problem, in stock, will have it tomorrow delievered by 3:00PM. Waiting for her to finish the order.

Now she just came back and said can not be ordered until tomorrow

Ehh, I'll wait until tomorrow morning and order online. My upgrade is clearly stated there, my corporate discount is stated there and entering the FREEOVERNT code gets it to me over night, on Friday, for sure.

at first i tried the telesales number and they told me i couldnt order it..i then hung up and tried *611 and it worked and am getting it tomorrow by 3pm

Won't it be at least $100 cheaper when the Prime comes out?

I was told that the corporate discount didn't apply to the phone, only for the service and upgrades.

OK. What do you know that I don't. Three calls and all three said they can not sell me the phone. One would not even confirm when its going on sale! Called on the land line twice and *611 once.

Same here no luck ordering the bionic, the rep said the prices weren't even in the computer yet. Sigh I don't want to deal with the Verizon store tomorrow.

Yes and 2 months from that I can hold the Prime and another new device in my hand and make an informed decision on that.

And in another 2 months I can hold that device I held next to the Prime and another device and make an informed decision.

And in another 2 months I can hold that device I held next to the device next to the Prime and another device and make an informed decision.

There are TONS of threads on here that are relevant to your "question" as to why people would buy this device over a rumored device with a rumored launch month. If you need someone to convince you to get the phone then don't get it. But if, as I suspect, you were asking the question as a rhetorical device to imply you are not impressed with the device you are in the wrong thread, forum, etc.

Please take 5 seconds of your day and read this thread.

Ordered mine about 10 minutes ago. I will be certain of it once i get the email with the tracking number. For now i have an order number.

I dialed 611 from my phone just as mapexonly did.
