I'd like that the defender does not have the Built-in screen protector for the S8 plus. I just ordered it and and expecting it to deliver to my work-place tomorrow. I like the beefy very protective look.

Had mine since 4/20. Slimmest profile that I can recall. At the forehead and chin, at least two millimeters slimmer than my GS7 Defender. Grip is great and not bulky. I have the GS8 Defender but I am sure that you will like it just the same.

Let us know how you like it thinking of ordering this one and the strada case for mine.

I own two lol. The black one does the usual creaking now becasue I took it off a lot to use the VR which causes the plastic tabs to expand a bit. I bought the Blue/Grey combo too from Best buy and like it. Tighter fitting. I'm just going to use my S7 Edge for the VR for now on. Too much of a pain to keep taking the case off for it.

I bought two. The first one was from Otterbox as a black silicone outer layer and blue inner shell. It came in a flat envelope that my wife thought was a piece of cardboard and threw it away.

Lol. My wife knows not to touch my Amazon presents.

I can't take a pic of it on the phone since I don't have another phone handy right now. But wow this is awesome and it looks GREAT!!

You can also print off the Amazon listing and have Best Buy price match it, or you can buy the black Defender at Sams for the same price as Amazon, $38 for the Plus Defender at Sams. Of course my Best Buy always runs low on the Defenders and only gets them in once a week if lucky.

Got mine from Amazon for 38. Hopefully no issues with Samsung Pay and the case on. If so, I always have my S3 watch on

I'll definitely need to remove this case and use a thinner one on my road bike rides with my handlebar mount but that's fine with me

It was an honest mistake. The packaging was pretty nondescript. No blatant Otterbox branding.

Anyhow, she has put up with me for almost 25 years and is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She indulges my gadget and firearm habits.

Firearms? Cool! yes, but It usually still has Amazon on the shipping label, at least when we order from them.

Too bad tech stuff goes out of style within a year unlike firearms which last for years and years.
