We bought two of them off EBay (Thanks, Mr. Anonymous!) and I had to drive two hours both ways to get them at 1am. Fun times.

It was a good thing we did it that way, though, because we don't live in a 3G area and they wouldn't have been sold at local stores.

Why did you choose the white one, btw?

Mine was a small local store. I live in a small town so not much demand. I just said that other at and T's already sold some and I would start an edge plan if I could get today. I also told them I called and was told they were in stock at at and t.

I personally am not bothered by logos.. From a manufacture or carrier. Everything in life has branding ... headphones, TVs, cars, refrigerators, washer / dryers, etc..... Why would a phone / carrier be any different? You are using a device made by them // or using a certain network for service and they just want to advertise it .. free advertisement when you're in public .

Because AT&T did not make the phone. I'm fine with the Samsung logo. Sears didn't slap their logo permanently on my fridge.

This is true but in the mobile phone world ... a phone is useless without the carrier... and Samsung is probably bullied into doing it anyway if they want to sell their device on that carrier ... So they do it. They don't want to miss sales due to a dumb reason like that.

I think best buy just gives you the unlocked version. When I got the s5, it came in the Samsung box with all accessories and no logo on the back of the device.

The first store I went to had them but the guy said his manager told him they cant sell them until friday. I went to another AT&T
store and picked up a white one no problem!! I this this due to AT&T putting my preorder on back order. I had preordered on
9/19 so I was a bit irratated.

I can confirm. I called a AT&T store in Sacramento,CA and they have them and are selling them! I have to wait one more hour at work to get mine!

No it was removed.

If the carriers follow what they did with the S5... Only T-Mobile will have the download booster.
