By remove touchwiz i did not mean delete it...i meant remove it from active use by your device sorry for the confusion
every android 2.1 phone has vanilla "google experience" on it TW is not an OS its a skin just like every other launcher and a lame iphone wanna be experience at that. DELETING TW is NOT GOOD. Only because ATT did not put a (Home/Vanilla) option that we can access besides TW. going into manage apps and clearing the defaults under TWLauncher will prompt you to run vanilla android on an EPIC but not on a cappy sry. I think most of the launchers we have available for the cap. are better than vanilla but if you want that true "google experience" and want to "remove" TW we are not as lucky as some other Galaxy devices. Try a launcher or one of the Cog2.2 betas. It should get you a large step towards what you want when you say "vanilla"
Disabling TW this is probably what your looking for but the cappy is not set up quite the same if you clear defaults on the TW its not going to give you a vanilla option (see scrnshots)
