I've been on these forums for some time and have learned if you asked 10 people one question, you will probably get 15 different answers from them.Agreed! You gotta do what works for you. I personally am very careful with my devices, so minimal to no protection works for me.
My mother-in-law insited on a heavy duty case the last time she got a phone, and I watched her drop it within days on hard tile. So she needs the heavy duty protection and she knows it.
So if you know what you need/want, just trust that. If you ask 10 people here what you need you will get 10 different answers; But none of them know you and your specific needs.
I had a weird issue....I suddenly realized my ear piece volume had gone low....I normally keep it at 50 to 60% coz is very loud ....
I was shocked suddenly what happened...
Brand new phone just few days old and ear piece volume has gone down...speaker gone bad soo soon....I felt bad that I had to take brand new phone to service centre....
Then suddenly I realised my screen guard had moved up and was covering the ear piece....
I laughed and was happy nothing wrong with the phone...
Soo I peeled off the screen guard.... and installed matt finish guard... that looks good and no finger prints on the device....View attachment 343812
I'm coming back to Samsung, after a dissappointing experience with the Pixel 6 Pro. It was an aggravating experience.
As of now, with my S22 Ultra, I'm content again.
I got one the 1st week they became available, it broke my Android Auto in my car
That was a deal breaker for me. Automobiles are being sold with Apple play and Android Auto and this is a big deal, I blame Samsung and Google for not testing properly before Samsung released the s22 phones.Neither my S22 Ultra or my S22+ will work with my Android auto.
You can take your car to the dealership for firmware updates on the head unit. Can the Android Auto system in a car be updated? Does it update when you connect with your device? Just curious.
Did you do a warranty exchange or you just returned it?Didn't got too well for me. Recieved S22U yesterday, returned it today. The screen glitched, I took a video which is attached.

That sounds unnecessarily inconvenient. Perhaps those who have issues with it in this thread should do that in order to get their phones working with their cars. You can take your car to the dealership for firmware updates on the head unit.
Android Auto worked flawlessly for me on day one with my S22U. There were people that had problems connecting their S22's with Pioneer Android Auto head unit systems that they installed on their vehicles (they weren't native to their vehicles).I got one the 1st week they became available, it broke my Android Auto in my car, I returned the phone 2 days later. Has the app been fixed yet?
Currently still using my s20 Ultra thank God I hadn't rushed to send it in for my credit.
And using an s22?Android Auto works perfect in my 2020 jeep grand Cherokee
No. Issues here
I'm driving a 2021 Mazda CX30, not sure who makes the unit.Android Auto worked flawlessly for me on day one with my S22U.
