Just Recieved another Text from VZW

I just recieved another text from verizon stating that the rollout for ICS for this phone will start June 20th. "This is a free txt message from vzw, thank you for being a loyal customer, there will be a new update coming to you handset june 20, bringing new features and enhancements, thank you for being a vzw customer". I am so excited, i cant wait.

Never heard of carriers sending texts for updates, and I've been with the android family since the day the g1 came out...
