Just rooted, what next.

Well I rooted my phone last night. And I have not installed any custom roms yet. I am not quite sure I did my backup right. I followed this guide http://gs3.wonderhowto.com/how-to/r...sh-stock-roms-using-odin-for-windows-0142713/
I got room manager installed it sure if I had clockwork installed. But I clicked backup and my phone went into some different screen and started backing things up. So does this mean I'm good to go? Would you suggest better or different backup solution?

Also what are your guys favorite daily drive roms

How do I make sure that I have backup? And I was over on xda forums, and someone said some ROMS will erase my backup, what's up with this? Should I keep more than one backup?

I have heard that too. But you can make a backup, put it to your sd card, then make a copy to your pc.

It should be a file called clockwork mod, and backup shoukd be a subfile..

ok so i found that backup file in the directory you mentioned it had many files in it. I uploaded all the files in the backup folder to my dropbox
, so i guess im good to go then? Now how does one go about flashing a custom ROM? i wan to flash Carbon ROM. thanks. I also uploaded all the files in the backup folder to my dropbox

Best way to do it is download with pc, copy to sd card, ibstall in recovery.

Look for QBKing 77 on youtube. His videos are done well, and detailed. Watch a couple and take notes.
