Just updated to Jelly Bean! Ripple effect broken! Please help!!!

So, I just updated to 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and locked the screen just to find out that only the lock and unlock sounds are much quieter. Also, on ICS when i tapped and held, and then released my finger, there used to be a prolonged wave ripple. Now it just double pops. Please help me find a solution to the problem.

P.S. I forgot to mention that there are now both vertical and horizontal pinkish lines that pulsate as if the screen is broken when i tap the lock screen.

I wish i could help. But i am still on ICS as I bought my S3 from T-Mobile. Sadly i wont see the update today or maybe the rest of the week.
Try changing the lockscreen to the default jelly bean Lock screen then Change it back.
Restarting your device could work.
Or just reset it

Sounds like a less than ideal update, I would suggest a backup then a factory reset.

I tried it all, resetting, restarting, but idk it might be from the carrier. If you're from Europe, please help me!!!

I have done the update and I still have the ripple so it's definitely your particular update. ..
Did you do OTA or Kies?

OTA, but the problem is that i have the ripple and it doesn't work right. Remember it on ICS, well now its broken and the lock/unlock sound is much quieter.
