Just updated to pie, battery drainage.

I was wondering I should do a factory rest plus wipe partition vs a wipe partition and no factory reset.

A factory reset will give me longer batter life?

Give it time... all kinds of stuff goes on after an update. Do check the settings, but I have always found it gets better over time.

my battery life on any phone takes hit for a day or two after an update. just give it some time to sort it self out.

Just this week battery starts to get better and better. Standby eats almost nothing. Almost.

On my Note 8 I just cleared cache in recovery and restarted and after 2 days battery was back to normal, repeated this a few times after getting loads of updates after to both Samsung and other apps
