So by looking at the Motorola Support Forum, it looks like they are looking for pre-release software testers here: https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/58901

I signed up. Might as well right? I have not rooted yet. Just waiting to GTalk video.

there's a confidentiality agreement for users who volunteer to give feedback. It's optional to sign it, but I bet they only give interesting beta software to people who chose to agree to it.
