How large/active is the developer community for this phone either model just wanted to know how I could gauge besides sitting and clicking F5 haha

You'd probably get a better idea by looking over at XDA.

Personally, I used to flash ROMs and fixes all the time on my Galaxy Nexus. Since getting a Moto X day one for Verizon, I haven't missed the root scene at all. The experience is just that good.

Agree. I stopped rooting once I got the X too.

Yep, it does what I want, so I've had little interest in delving deep into inside stuff.
