Keep getting "Firefox had a problem and crashed".

The screen says: "We're Sorry Firefox had a problem and crashed. Your Tabs should be listed on the Firefox Start page when you restart." There is a checkbox to "Tell Mozilla about this crash so they can fix it". Then a text box for comments. Then 2 checkboxes to include the address of the page I was on (I wasn't even using Firefox at the time) and allow Mozilla to contact me. Then, at the bottom of the screen, there is a close button and a restart Firefox button. I have tried every combination of entries on the page, and still keep having the problem.

I get this screen every time I try to open an app, and sometimes when it first boots up. Galaxy Tab A (2016). Model SM-T580. Android version 8.1.0 Every time I click on an icon to start an app, this screen comes up. Even if I click the button on the screen to "restart Firefox", this screen comes up.

I can't seem to post a screenshot or attach a picture here.

Is there any way to fix this? The tablet is now useless.

Clearing the system cached files, which may have been corrupted or causing trouble. If it does no good, it will do no harm.

If that doesn't fix it, uninstall Firefox, restart the Tab, then reinstall it. If that still doesn't fix it, try uninstalling it and installing the Nightly - we have to do that in Windows now, bccause stock Firefox doesn't do sound in Windows 10. (If that still doesn't fix it, email Mozilla.)

I can't start Firefox at all. Even clicking any other icons, including settings, triggers that screen. I can't do anything.

I've tried in the past to uninstall Firefox, but it doesn't allow it to be uninstalled. I hate Firefox worse than even the Microsoft browsers.

Re: Keep getting "Firefox had a problem and crashed".

I found a way to uninstall Firefox. Let's see what that does.
I'm surprised your not using chrome or Samsung browser, I never liked Firefox on mobile but computer was ok.

Your saying when Firefox crashed the whole tablet froze?
