Keep Keyboards Disabled?

I just recently moved from a Galaxy S3 to a the VZW Galaxy S6. I have to say, I really like it so far. Not sure it was worth the $200 upgrade, but it is DEFINITELY faster and more responsive (and the screen ROCKS!).

I have a few minor complaints, but the main one so far is that turning off the other keyboards (Samsung and Swype) doesn't 'stick.' They stay disabled for a little while, but then they reenable themselves.

I only use "Swype - Swype + Dragon" and would REALLY love for that Keyboard icon to disappear when I type.

Any idea why this setting does stay saved?

I made a post about this before also, someone said that it was just an android bug, not sure if it's just a lollipop thing or what. Still would be good to know for sure if there is a fix or just in general the cause if the problem

Can you link your post ballzac? I have this issue also and this is the only one that popped up when i searched this issue. Or lemme know the title of the thread.

Once I installed Swiftkey and made it the default keyboard, I have never gotten any such notifications.
