What's the word on this app? Is it good for storing passwords and other info that needs to be kept safe?

I like the idea of a remote backup and restore.

I prefer KeePassDroid. It works very well, plus there is a desktop version that it will sync with (so you can have the database in more than one location).

There is also KeePassBB for BlackBerry that uses the same database. The Android version has the added ability to generate passwords. When viewing an entry, it adds icons in the notification bar to copy/paste the username and password.

Ok, thanks. I'll check that one out. Does it have OTA backup/restore too?

I appreciate your letting me know there's a version for BlackBerry too! I want to be all set to switch!

give Keeper a try...

Keeper has a new Internet Sync feature which allows you to sync your data across all devices - Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Mac, PC, etc... it's totally seamless and backs up your data on the cloud securely. We just launched these features this week... download from our site and you can give these features a try.

auto-fill

...we also launched Auto-Fill features on the Android and iPhone platforms. Keeper will help you seamlessly login to websites with one touch all from within the app. Coming to BlackBerry soon as well.

I downloaded Keeper on my BlackBerry and added some info. Looking forward to cloud backup/restore since I'll be switching to Android soon.

I entered the trial registration #. Looks good. I don't see an option for the cloud backup though (sync).

Is there a way to change headers individually? When I go to Options and change the Header, it changes it for ALL entries. Would be nice to edit the headers within the single entry.

Great app so far! Thanks for posting here!!

Keeper on BlackBerry is always in sync, and each time you change something, an incremental backup is stored in the cloud. This means nothing will ever get lost. The desktop and Android apps also go one step further and provide the backup/restore screens that are basically on-demand. Over the next few weeks our #1 goal as a company is to get every version of Keeper across every platform to have identical features. Tomorrow we launch a new BlackBerry version which includes folder sorting and a few other small improvements. Next week the iPad version will get all the bells and whistles.

Awesome! Thanks for the information and update. I'm sticking with this app! Just having the backup and sync app is worth the $.

Looking forward to seeing how it works when I go from BlackBerry to Android next week.

It's great to see a company post here.

I like LastPass. Password storage and secure note cloud storage. $12/year.

The new BlackBerry version is live that supports folders and a few other improvements. You can upgrade from http://callpod.com/bb

Also... we are going to be launching a version in a few days that supports Auto-Fill, which means you can log into websites without having to copy paste or remember any passwords... all from Keeper. Just like we do on Android and iPhone.

I have been using Keepass for a few years on my Windows and Linux desktop and then on the iphone. With Keepassdroid and DropBox I am able to keep everything synced and backed up without any problems. The fact that this is all for free is a nice bonus.
