Is there a way to keep the screen on during charging? I have searched through the settings but so far have not found anything.

I have the AT&T version and I've looked in the Developer Options and I do not see the option. Also read that it should under the Display, gestures and buttons. It's not in there either. :'( Anyone figure this out yet??

Power Toggles widget allows you to set on toggle screen always on. I don't see an option for always on only when charging, but I guess you could toggle it.

I use an app called Caffeine. It is free, light weight and works 100% as expected.

Free app called Stay Awake. Used it for over two years without a hitch. Does exactly what you are asking.

I'm surprised the One can actually gain a charge while the screen is lit due to the slow charging.

Daydream under settings. It's like a screen saver while charging. When you plug your phone in let the screen shut off by itself. Then all you have to do is touch the screen to wake it up.

If you start the Car app after plugging in the charger the screen won't turn off.

Just run whatever app you want on from the car mode while charging.

Really depends on what else you're doing while the screen is on I guess. But if you're sitting at desk for eight hours at works it will fully charge the phone.
