Keyboard cover nightmare

I've had mine fall off twice in a week. both times in the extended postion....watching a movie and typing. If it falls off again, i will follow the 'air removal ' instructions more closely.

for as much as I use this it could become a problem. But, if its NOT about adhesive, and more about suction....that may indicate the fix is easy and quick...and my be more about preparation I'll keep trying for now

Get it exchanged. I had the same issue with my 1st one. The one I have now I can literally write on it using the spen in any position without having to worry about the back coming off or case collapsing.

I have one on the way. Backordered on amazon, it'll be a month

If not have it exchanged before it's too late. You shouldn't have to work too much to get it to work. Mines been air tight for about 5 days days now (seems longer). I use it without worry that it's going to fall off and it hasn't failed me yet.

I've had mine stay on for several days already...then it dropped off. After several attempts to get it to stay on, I just set it down. Picked it up hours later and its on now.

My entire family is razing me. they are all iphone and ipad. Though I do not hate apple products, I just got rid of the XS Max and ipad pro. Even though I rarely used them, I would have been tempted last night. Im a note fan...and after the s10+, a new fan in general. I consideer this keyboard this, a minor inconvienance. I'll figure it out

Did they complain about the green bubble?
Just read an article about that being a issue and people being excluded from messages because they cause green bubbles...

Every product has it's own issues. iPhones and iPads are pretty good. They have some issues, but overall are more than acceptable and reliable. Most Android phones and tablets suck. Before the note9, it had been years since I had anything Android that I was ok with. Ok meaning the advantages outweighed the disadvantages.. To me. The S10+ pushed me over the edge. I can't think enough good things about the note10+. The interoperability between phone and tablet, and then between those devices and everything else I connect with leaves me content... For now.

Because the family is engrained with the Apple products just allows wiggle room for temptation. But it's easy to get around. Heck... One of the things about the new Apple watch that ticked me, the always on setting. I love that!! Imagine my shock this afternoon while playing with settings on my Galaxy watch... It's already there!!!!

Sso i tried another tactic. I cleaned the device and made sure there was no residue. I wwiped the adhesive with a damp cloth. I attached the backing to the device and rubbed out for about 10 minutes or so, working center out...then i let it sit..several hours later I picked it up and its still going...so, almost 4 days now.

If I do get the S6 I don't plan on getting the samsung keyboard case. I'll get a different one from amazon - I don't need a keyboard - probably similar to the ones i used on my S4 and S2. The one I have on my S4 has a holder for the pen on top of the case. It works good enough (when I remember to put the pen back into it!), but I couldn't use that with the S6 because the pen won't charge there.

This won't last. When you extend the kickstand to it's flattest setting to watch videos or draw, the suction will go away

I don't know if I have ever used the flat placement ever. But I see what you're talking about. I'm looking at alternative cars now on Amazon.

The attraction of the Samsung case was the stand and keyboard are separate. The stand provides a low imprint, and I add the keyboard if needed. My personal issue with the S4 was the keyboard case combo, all the time, was bulkier than I liked. It felt off... To me. I've only used the keyboard a handful of times, so mainly just the stand.

So how do you guys with the cases feel about all the sides of the tablet being exposed. I have only ever used regular amazon bought cases that have the 4 corners and side protections. I was going to put the Samsung Keyboard cover on, but I am worried about the lack of side protection for the tablet, especially when I put it in my bag and carry it around with me.

BTW, I am typing this with the Keyboard portion of the cover, while my tablet is still in one of those Amazon cases.View attachment 309644

What case is this??? I'm a part time keyboard user

That particular one is this:
Neepanda Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 10.5, Ultra Slim Tri-Fold Case with S Pen Holder Compatible with Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 10.5 Inch Model SM-T860/T865/T867 2019 Release Tablet, Black

However I switched to this one, which I also use with keyboard part. I like this one better because it actually covers the s-pen rather than just leave it as a cutout:
Ztotop Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 10.5" 2019 with S Pen Holder, [Auto Wake/Sleep] Ultra Slim Trifold Stand Smart Cover for SM-T860/T865 Galaxy Tab S6 10.5 Inch Tablet 2019 Release - Black

It's been about 2 weeks now since the last failure. I washed the tablet....wet down the adhesive...and placed it in place. I did the rubbing and such...then let it sit about an hour. Since then, I have put it through its paces. Work with a keyboard several hours a day... in the evenings, use it without the keyboard and only the stand for movies and reading. I tried all the angles, from upright to basically laying it down as far as it will go. No failures.

I did try to return it within the first 10 days...but they gave me so much flak, I almost returned the tablet instead. But I didn't. Its working well now with no failure.

What I dint like is that I want the Case on during the day and off at night when I am home. I wonder why they just didn't use magnets like the Tab S5e those cases hold very well.

It's slim enough where I don't mind having it as a back cover plus the positions you can stand it in are optimal.

I just got mine today so I can't report back yet. but it is worth mentioning that the instructions on the clear tab that everybody probably just throws away does say to adhere it and then let it sit face down for an hour before trying to stand it up.. I assume to it can cure 🤷
