Does anyone know if there is a way to prevent the detachable keyboard from charging the tablet when connected? I would like to turn off my tablet while connected to the keyboard and be able to use it when i'm ready. Right now if they are attached the keyboard will charge the tablet and after a couple hours the keyboard is no use to me.

None that I know of. The keyboard typically doesn't start charging the tablet until the tablet gets below 90% or so.

Well, considering that you can still use the keyboard when docked even if its battery is completely drained, you shouldn't have a problem. I guess I don't understand the problem.

I also don't understand the problem. The keyboard is of no use without the tablet anyway, but since the tablet can be used with or without the keyboard, it only makes sense to keep the tablet charged. If the keyboard battery is empty, it will still function fine when attached to the tablet. If the tablet and keyboard both get depleted, you'd have to charge them anyway.

I know I'm one of those guys that likes to let the battery deplete before charging it up pagan going off the superstition that it will keep the memory of the battery at full possible capacity, is that the dealio?
