Hi,
Thanks for looking.

An update was available on my samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 on Thursday (2nd Oct) so I continued and went ahead with it.

Once it had updated and rebooted I went to use it but had the error message "Unfortunately, Samsung keyboard has stopped working".

I couldn't do anything so searched on my laptop and tried clearing the data in applications and rebooting a number of times.
Nothing was working so I did a factory reset.
This didn't work so I have done a hard reset.
When I turn on the tablet it is the same as I when I first bought it but the error message still comes on so I can't even enter the WiFi password.

Can someone help me?
I have never rooted the tablet but am willing to do so if it means I can get it working again.

Thanks in advance.
Simon

There seems to be a serious issue with Tab 2 10.1 update that was released during September/early October. Just about all the forums I follow has someone reporting this issue. No one seems to have found a working solution.

I would suggest flashing the previously working OS through Odin. This does not require rooting. The previous OS can be found on the SamMobile site. You will need your laptop for Odin.

A quick search for "flashing back to stock rom on P51xx" will bring up the required instructions.

Out of curiosity, which rom is giving problems? I rooted my P5100 soon after we received 4.1.2 in South Africa. Currently I am running the Slimkat 4.4.4.
