Keyboard...gboard or stock?

Here's another example of Gboard autocorrect sucking:. I typed "hanbfull" and it didn't even suggest "hand full". Really annoying.

I'm using stock. I did use gboard at one point, but for me the predictive text was awful. Not sure why since I know gboard is well regarded by a lot of users. Predictive text isn't great on stock either though so maybe I should try it again. I had used Fleksy in the past and liked it too.

Yeah, unlocked on Verizon. Gboard last updated in December for me.

Eh, I've switched over to SwiftKey again and I'll see how that goes. So far it is much better at actually correctly fixing words for me.

prefer stock but what i hate on stock keyboard is that you cant change the press time for the alternate keys...more me it takes tooooooo long to press for an exclamation mark etc... in gboard they have the option to make the "long press" shorter.
Stock keyboard also plays better with the s-pen in terms of recognizing to change to from keyboard to writing pad...while in gboard you have to click to select the writing pad first.

I went back to stock keyboard just jump to Att pie and forget the spen only works with this keyboard

Stock has a setting for that too.

I switched back to stock to see if it works good enough for me. One less app on the phone if it does. Mustang pushed me over the ledge.

Love that feature with spen to text someone just write it in the space where keyboard is.
