My standard keyboard is having troubles, it won't spell everyday English words correctly when using the keyboard that came standard, anyone else having this issue.?

Maybe, menu, settings, apps, running, see if you can locate the keyboard app then find its cache and clear it.

It won't be running, just touch input does.. But look for HTC_IME.apk under all apps and clear it from there.

If not another way just might be to add those words to your personal dictionary.

Btw, your language is set to English, right?

Yea I'll try that, yea its set 2 English lol

Forget that. Get the latest Swype Beta. I've tried ALL kinds of keyboards. After their latest release, nothing else comes close.

Personally I think TouchPal is a way better keyboard than Swype, although I have not tried the new beta version.

I must be missing something, I have not had any issues with the stock keyboard, what makes the others better?

There isn't anything really wrong with the stock keyboard... there are just much nicer ones out there that have lots of nice little features, better auto-complete, better trace typing (aka Swype), mid-swype auto complete, push and hold to backspace entire words, etc. etc. each keyboard has it's own pluses and minuses, all depends what works for you, compare to browsers... some people love Internet Explorer, others Chrome, FireFox, Opera, Maxthon, etc. but they all get the job done, some just more elegantly than others.

Coming from mostly AOSP phones I hated the HTC keyboard. It actually made me buy swiftkey which is an awesome replacement and for sale in the market for $.99
