keyboard switcher in the notification shade?

ok, so on my note 2 i had an icon of a keyboard on my notification bar and i could pull down the shade and switch from between the keyboards super easy. i'm missing this alot since i mostly use swiftkey, but would at times switch to stock keyboard to use the handwriting function for apps like s note. anyone know of a setting im missing?

That is still there make sure you are in a text box and it shows up just like it did on my note 2
