Can anyone tell me why my keyboard is reverting back to stock when I change it to a different keyboard app?

I backed it up and uninstalled the Samsung Keyboard. Will see if this fixes the problem.

Are you using the IME switcher located in the notification bar for switching keyboards? After you install a new keyboard, you need to go to language and input in the phones settings and select the new keyboard as well as selecting the keyboard with the IME switcher in the notification bar.
