Keyboards~

Was using swift key, then went back to stock, then went back to swiftkey when version 3 came out. I like swiftkey the best so far, but the keys are a little bit bigger with the stock keyboard.

The key height can be adjusted in settings. If you choose "large" the keys will be the same size as stock.

I really like the default keyboard, but I always stick with Swiftkey. So I'm using Swiftkey 3 right now.

Swiftkey since beta and landed landed pro version free as part of Amazon's free app of the day. Swiftkey 3 is amazing at predictions, never looking back. It was so effective I ended up purchasing the tablet version for my Prime

I use Thumb Keyboard and love it. The split layout makes the most sense to me; I can even type without looking at it most of the time which is awesome for a virtual kb.

For a manufacturer kb, the stock Sense isn't so bad...

I tried them all and Swiftkey has one me over with Swiftkey 3. The feature where it knows if you missed the space button is what makes it so good for me since i miss the button a lot.

I've tried them all: Stock, Swype, ICS, SwiftKey, Thumbs, Go Keyboard.

My favorites are Swift and Go Keyboard, but the one thing that I hate with keyboards on this phone is that the on-screen menu button pushes the keyboard a little higher than if the menu button was not there. This makes me have to shift my hands a little while typing, otherwise I'm nowhere near target.

Because of this, I've been remaining with the stock keyboard for a while. They cleverly just hide the cursor buttons if the on-screen menu button shows up, so the keys are in the same place in every app.

Is there a way to the same with the 3rd party keyboards??

I tried Swype for a while.. and I gave up, even when doing letter by letter it kept changing the word to non nonsensical words (based on the sentence), I switched to Swift key. It's not as fast, but I like the results much better. In Swype, the "auto space, punctuation" has never worked for me. I turn off autocorrect. I rather mispell then get a random word. There is a huge difference between sending a text saying "You shut up" then "You slut up".. this happened.

I know this probably isn't the place to ask, but there are a lot of SwiftKeyers here. Anyone else have an issue with contractions? Swiftkey doesn't really want to learn them on my phone. Which would be fine if can't went to cant, but can't goes to can more often than not.

I put my settings to "rapid' and I don't have any problems with word predictions or contractions.
