I'm still new to the AndroidOS, so please forgive me if this has been answered . I am having this annoying thing happen that when I press a letter like G, T, ect; the email, browser, or some other app opens. This happens when I am trying to write up a text or write an email. It seems to be some kind of shortcut deal that I don't know how to turn off. Can someone here please tell me what feature this is and how do I turn it off? This feature is making it impossible for me to surf the web or write any type of text; without apps opening up and getting in my way.

Thanks in advance.

Try this,,, Settings>applications>Quick launch,,,,, i think from here you will be able to assign or remove shortcuts

Thanks! I got my phone working correctly now. In order to disable to shortcuts, you have to press and hold each button and then you will be given a way to edit the shortcut.

Glad i could help, hope you are having a better experience now :)
Happy holidays

Yeah I love the phone so far. I'm still learning about the features and apps. I just wish the Transform would have the ability to store and run apps from the memory card; just like the EVO can.

That will happen once it gets the Android 2.2 update. It's also up to the app developer to enable this feature i believe.
