Kickstand = useless?

First I was super happy I got the TB yesterday, i don't live in a 4G area. I was surprised that the Hartford CT airport has 4G, not listed on any verizon map. I then flew to Baltimore. I started watching March madness on CBS Sports. I thought what a great opportunity to use the kick stand. Obviously I eventually needed to charge the phone.

You CANNOT CHARGE THE PHONE AND USE THE KICKSTAND. This is a huge design flaw in my book.

I also learned the valuable lesson that a computer provides less power than is being consumed.

Useless is a bit of an overstatement, no? I mean I was eating out the other night and enjoying the hell out of my kickstand and 1 clean finger navigation as I ate. And you can still stand it up straight if you have to charge. There is no perfect. If it was on the bottom there would be reason to complain too, and most people are right handed, so you can't put it on the other side without issues either. Guess the top could work...

If you have a 90 degree cable, you can use the kickstand in landscape.

This has been discussed Ad nauseam ever since this phone was announced at CES.

Yes we know it sucks. Simple fix for this that HTC should have employed was switching the side in which the kickstand opens.
