Kies 2.0

Has anyone tried to use the kies? With the new update to touchwhiz and 2.0, The galaxy tab, and SGS2 phones are supposed to be able to sync wirelessly. Has anyone tested this out on a PC or a Mac?

I heard that this new update is supposed to enable the ability for us to sync directly to Outlook. Is this true?

To be honest, I am not sure about that. I got this information from samsungs website. I do not, however, remember seeing anything about outlook, but I dont really use outlook so I could have easily overlooked this information.

Kies does work and looks pretty nice....easy transfer blue tooth or USB.... Remind me a bit like I tunes...nice media player.

yes 2.0 is out. When you download it has a different build number though which is confusing

yes i am aware that it works through usb, Im asking about the wireless sync option that is supposed to be available

I used the wireless sync yesterday. Works flawlessly for me.

Just open up KIES on your desktop computer and then on the Tab do the following... SETTINGS|Wireless and Networks|Kies via Wi-Fi and it will show a list of all devices available on your router's Wi-Fi network. Select the computer running Kies and it will establish a connection.

Kies is a big mistake, it just wasn't a good idea from the start.
