Kies unable to download podcasts

Samsung Galaxy Ace Duo
Model Number GT-S6802
Android version 2.3.6
Requires Kies version 2.6.4

Phone connects to PC okay (most times) and am able to update/synch data.

However, in Library > Podcasts > + Select Podcasts to Add > ... any Podcast URL entered in the dialog box returns an ERROR message: "There is a problem with the connection to the podcast. Please try again later." (During this request I am connected to the internet with Chrome. )

Also, how would I connect to the Podcast Channel if Kies doesn't connect automatically???

Install a podcast program on the PC (or even the Windows version of iTunes. Download the podcasts you want, then copy them to the phone.

(Or, better yet, download them in the phone with the podcast app. If yours can't, Podcast Addict can.)
