Kies

I can't get my phone to connect to kies. I just downloaded kies on my computer and it will not connect to my phone. I have troubleshooted it, restarted my phone, and it is still not connecting. My phone shows it is connect to the computer via USB cable. Any suggestions?

Mine has to be done over wireless sync. turn on wifi on your phone
