I have had my T-Mobile HTC One for a little over a week. I have used many different phones over the years, started with various Blackberry devices, than switched to the iPhone when it was introduced. Flirted with some early Android but found most of them very clunky and ugly in those early days. Last year I switched to the S3 and really enjoyed the experience.
I wanted to upgrade to a nicer device, I have to admit I miss the ability to switch the battery when I travel and do not have access to recharge. Don't really need the SD Card expansion, I stream most of my music through Rdio and have several hundred songs in my downloaded playlists if I am away from a data source.
I have been with Sprint for many years, mainly for the cost and unlimited data, however the 3G is painfully slow, and the 4G is non-existent in the Raleigh area, and frankly I am tired of waiting. SO I switched to T-Mobile, and the speed of HSPA+ blows Sprint out of the water. I love this phone, it does has a few flaws (capacitive buttons are not very responsive, and the power button location takes getting used to). The battery lasts longer than my S3, the screen is awesome, 32 GB of memory, and I like the way it looks and feels plus the sound on the front, what took so damn long for this feature?
I have noticed that the T-Mobile forum is pretty quite, I know they are the smallest of the major carriers, but I hope to see more posting as the customer base increases. I look forward to helping the community grow.
