Kindle Fire mount

Hi. I have a Kindle Fire 1st gen rooted w/ TWRP recovery installed. Recently, I had decided to update my kindle to a later version of cyanogemod. After I had wiped the storage I noticed that my Kindle's storage wouldn't let me access it on my computer. When I try to open my KF's storage, it doesn't show up on my computer at all. It makes a noise that it had recognized it, it just won't show up in file explorer. I can access TWRP recovery, it just wont be recognized by my computer, even when I choose the "mount storage" option on TWRP.
