it means general public license. Basically it means they share their source and don't charge money for the stuff.

I just re-rooted my phone after getting it repaired and went to dl bfs11 and now there is a bfs12. Anyone try?

Edit: n/m read a couple of the end pages and no one is liking these anymore. if only i could remember what kernel i had before. i'll have to search my post.

Edit2: looks like i was running kings bfs2. I liked it when i ran it. anyone know of a much better kernel right now? looking for something with excellent performance and battery life. i know its an oxymoron but what are my options?
