Kingsoft Office - PDFs open/load slowly

I'm currently using Kingsoft Office, which includes the ability to open up PDFs and for the most part it does fine, however I'm having a serious performance issue loading up a simple 28 page PDF I just scanned. It takes maybe 5 seconds to load up the first page and then it loads each individual page for about 5 seconds a piece. Is there something better with PDFs in terms of opening them up instantly? Don't really care about editing features...
