Kit Kat has been out now for quite a few months now in Google's flagship model Nexus 5. Like any other OS, bugs would arise, and they would get squashed.

Kit Kat is superior to its predecessors (better memory management, better power management, more security, etc. etc).

And for me it appears to have greatly improved the WiFi issues as well. I am once again in awe of that piece of amazing technology that is the Note 3  Oh and that free $50 for using ISIS with Amex Serve didn't hurt :-$

KK doesn't allow the same external SD card access as JB. The SD card is read only. Which is okay if all you do is store music or videos on. Some apps still think they have access to write on the SD card and they don't which usually ends up crashing the app. That's been my experience.

It isn't read only.

It now has proper application security on your sd Card. There was absolutely no security before. The apps just need to be updated.
