I'm curious as to how anyone's experience with the new 4.4.

So far, so good here. I think there might be a WiFi issue. Mine tends to lose the connection. But could just be the office WiFi, still testing.

I haven't noticed any problems. Performance wise I haven't really noticed any improvements either. The battery does seem to be a little better. Wi-Fi has been great for me.

I have noticed better performance on both my 2012 and 2013 N7.... Maybe its a placebo effect, but to me it's noticeably faster! I haven't had any WiFi issues on either device either, but then again I never did before the upgrade.....all in all, I am very satisfied with the upgrade.

My nexus 4 has blanked out couple of times after the update this morning. Had to hold down the power switch to boot it again
I'm now worried about the continued usage post the ota 4.4 update. Anyone else in a similar situation???

Not really all that impressed. Maybe I was expecting to much. Need Nova Launcher Beta to get translucent status and navigation bars. Hangouts 2.0 does not bring SMS/MMS to the Nexus 7. The Google Voice app on the N7 does just find sending/receiving SMS over wifi. Was hoping 4.4 update would bring this functionality to hangouts as well.

Post OTA 4.4 Nexus 7 recent apps button is buggy. I have to press it a couple of time and then the screen shows no apps even though I just opened some.

I've had only problems connecting to WiFi. The connection will drop... I can't connect back unless I power down. Seems to only happen when connected to corporate WiFi.

The good: they fixed the magnetic cover case issue.
The bad: Takes 5-6 seconds longer to load my homescreen widget on a fresh boot. (it was near instant on 4.3)

I had flash installed and with update it stopped working. Any fix?

No - Google made significant changes affecting Flash use and it's broken in all browsers. One exception is Puffin, which uses server-side Flash as opposed to the on-board apk.

Mine dropped WiFi several times this morning. Seems OK now. I'm guessing there will be some updates.

HTML5 needs to hurry [language deleted by moderator] up and replace flash. Other than that my Nexus 7 feels faster and the gps and wireless issues seem to have been solved.
