I downgraded my s5 back to kitkat however i see that the music player is still white after even factory reset.how to change back to black?

Is your app drawer white too? If so, that's because of the Google app's latest update.

Also, do you use Google Play Music? Is it up to date? If yes, then I think the Play Music update is making it look like lollipop.

Either Google App or Play Music is your culprit

This is the stock music player and i dont think it was white before....
I remembered that it was black.

I dunno about that. Your original KK firmware must have been from an earlier build that has a dark theme. Although I haven't seen one ever, some versions are probably using the dark one for the stock music player. The best way is to use the same firmware you have before you ugraded to Lollipop

i just went to sammobile,saw a list of firmwares,and chose the one all the way at the bottom,and just downloaded that one.

What a good idea!

Choose the oldest of 5 KitKat builds with the least number of enhancements and performance bugfixes.

well,which one do i download then?i want my stock firmware that came out of the box,and when i first got it i got a update a few days later after that update was lollipop oc2 update so i didnt know which one to get so i just took the earliest firmware.

OB5 never released on UK phones. OC7 was the first build that I remember connecting quickly to Wi-Fi.
