Knock knock lock screen virus

Hi my daughter's lg k8 phone has went into lock down somehow. I noticed last night back button and home was really slow so I restarted it this morning and there's a white screen, 4 squares and asking knock knock code with 30/30 attempts photo included. she's had phone since Jan and only goes on apps from play store but mostly Instagram etc. Anyone know how to get rid of it as there isn't much out there about this. No idea how she got this but I'm bloody livid she deleted her antivirus

it appears to be the start up lock screen is active. you need to enter the knock knock pattern, then go to settings and at the top a orange bar should be present. when you tap it it will ask you for the knock knock pattern enter it and turn it off.
