I got my G Watch R last night and the first thing I had to do was turn down the brightness. Today in the daylight I had to turn it back up but all the way to 6.
I knew this might be an issue since they didn't install an ambient light sensor. What they could do is give us a setting to automatically change the brightness depending on the time of day. I wonder if a developer could make an app for that.
Other than that, I'm really happy with the watch.
