Ladies what cases do you have?

I have the Spigen Liquid Crystal with Glitter (Crystal Quartz). It is very pretty and not too glitzy --very subtle sparkles. I really like it and get compliments on it.

Hi is there any chance I could please see a picture of your phone with the case on?

Does the uag monarch add bulk to the phone??
Not too much.

my 2 favorites are pink Otterbox commuter, the other is Spigen tough armor in orchard grey

i want the Alcantara but i'm afraid it'll get scroungy and dingy looking after a while. For theI ladies who have it-do you get the sense it'll get dirty fast, or does it stand up well to dirt and scuffs?

im goingbare rightnow, i had a waterfall case, i forget the name, but it wasso thick it waslike holding 2 phones :/ i want something slim & lowpro, but still feminine.

I have an OtterBox defender on mine. It's big and it's bulky but there's no doubt it will protect the phone. I had a Spine case on my S7 Edge and it did nothing to protect the phone once when it fell. The corner glass shattered when the phone fell on that bottom corner.

I've only had it for a couple of weeks but it seems to me that it will stand up quite well to dirt and scuffs. I have mine around the barn every day and in the hot tub every evening. I'm outside more than I am in. Hay, water, dirt, etc... wipes right off.

do you feel like it's easier to grip because of the fabric or whatever it is?

The alcantara doesn't add much in terms of grip but it's got more grip than the phone itself so that's already a plus for me. The suede-type feeling can be a bit slick but once you get used to it, you shouldn't have any issues. Good test for me was putting it backside down on the arm of my leather couch. Every other case beside the Speck grip cases would slide off the arm. Thankfully, the alcantara does not. As for the durability, I have my phone going in and out of my back pocket all day, every day. Long term, I'm concerned about the "lip" of the case getting worn but I've had the case since the beginning of September and so far so good. It still looks like I just pulled it out of the box. I'll update that statement after another couple of weeks, but so far I'm impressed.

To add to my comment about the grip, I made it sound as if it was very slippery. It is not, it's just not as "grippy" as most other cases. With that being said, I never feel like I'm going to drop it. Running your fingers along the case produces the slick feeling I mentioned before but wrapping your hand around it, as you would when holding the phone, feels secure

Otterbox Defender. They are thinner this year. Loving it. Loving my galaxy Note 8!!

That's the one I have except mine is all black. Feels good holding it because it's rubbery. Won't slip.
I think they call this color Big Sur. It's like a teal blueish color. I've gotten some fake cases from Amazon and even though their rubber their still slippery oddly enough. But this genuine otter box defender here is all grip!!

Insignia clear case. No bulk at all, and it has good grip. I tried a tempered screen protector that cracked on installation, so I got a refund and currently am just going without one like I did with my S7E for almost a year.

The only thing I don't like about this case is the way the individual port covers pull up instead of down like on all their other cases. I just use my wireless charger because of that. I'm afraid the rubber on top will eventually distort and not look nice if I keep plugging the cord in to charge.

Yes. I also use the free wireless charger I got from Samsung for that too
