Landscape mode only works while docked??

Landscape works when texting, on the internet, etc. It does NOT work when I am on the home page (or any of the other 5 pages). Is this normal? I swear it worked when i first got it, but after taking it out of the car dock and putting it in the other dock to charge, I can't get the screen to switch when i'm on any of the home pages. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

go to Settings >display > Auto Rotate screen

this will enable landscape.

edit: landcape will NOT work on home screen, but will work on app drawer

I swear the landscape mode worked on my homescreen when I first got it also. Am I imagining that? Perhaps it has something to do with widgets on the screen? Weird.
