Last day of anticipation posts, tomorrow first day of complaints!

You know how forums are, about 2/3 of all posts are about "issues" with the product, some whiny and outraged, some reasonably getting help from fellow users. No big deal, that is the best use of the forums, to solve problems.

So, today will be the last day of "oooh, I can't wait" or "Where the hell is it!!" and tomorrow starts the "hey, X feature is broken!!" and "Does anybody know how to work this thing?!"

Hope this doesn't end up like the TB forum. Anxious anticipation and anger for weeks, followed by a few days of afterglow and then hit with the complaints and furor over all the problems with the TB.

Right, but here is the psychological trick I am going to use on myself: we have about that much extra screen real estate due to the larger screen, so we end up with a net of the same amount!

What is frustrating for me is that the search widget was the first thing I deleted from my OG Droid and Thunderbolt! But at least it is transparent and will sort of blend in so I can just forget about it.

The exact reason I'll let the forums put the phone through its paces, read the solutions and then purchase

Not being able to remove the search bar will bug me...

I've heard many times that disabling the Google Search app will remove the search bar.
Of course, I feel like that also removes some search functionality...

Yes, that is what I want to know. I hope they have one in stock tomorrow, and I will just go ahead and get it right then.
