Last day to pre-order to keep unlimited (6/27/12)

Can anyone tell me if this will keep my unlimited data?

I want the phone however my line isn't eligible for the upgrade. If I do the upgrade on a secondary line and then at a later date do a hardware swap I should be able to keep my unlimited data because technically at that point i own the hardware and it would have been the same as buying the phone outright.

You "should" be able to use another line to get and activate the S3 and then after activating the S3 you should be able to move it to your unlimited line.

I just went through the process myself to see what it would do and it was about to charge me right there on the spot for the whole price of the phone.

You should be billed the whole price of the subsidized cost for the phone, and not the full retail. Your account/card would be charged when the phone ships.

I will see which phone gets the next Android OS. I've only had the Galaxy Nexus for 6 months, I can hold out for another 6 and just pay full retail for the SGIII or whatever else it top dog in 6 months.

and now the day has come and gone

to keep unlimited data:
1) buy at full retail price
2) buy at subsidized prices on another family member's line, then take their hardware

Although at some point, I'm sure VZW will find some way to close all the loopholes and subject us to a tiered data plan

06/27/2012 is a very important date for another reason that has nothing to do with Verizon.... or does it??????????

Bad photoshop, but I admit I lol'd. The actual date is Oct 21 2015. Only three more years until we have flying cars and hoverboards!

anyone ordered from Costco?
they offer 25.00 back and free Bluetooth and accessoris, plus you only pay tax on 199.00 only not 599.00.
you get over 140.00 in accessorries and savings over buying from VZW.

the accessory pack is not worth that much. For my rezound that I got for $50 on upgrade in November of last year, the included a generic pouch, generic screen protector and generic car charger. All parts felt cheap, and to me, maybe worth $5. This kit includes blue tooth, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were cheap as well.

let me ask you all, how long before we lose unlimited all together?

Right now, the next time you upgrade. Everything else is speculation.

There is no way I'm giving up the best network coverage in my area for a data plan.
