I've noticed after the last update that the side scroll to zoom no longer works. Was that a known change on this last update?

I noticed also. I'm glad it's gone. Was very annoying when your finger strayed to the edge. It would gave been nice as I suggested earlier in the forum to have the option in settings to turn the feature on or off. This would satisfy everyone.

Yep its gone here too....good thing, I hated it!

I wish there was a toggle option to turn it on and off - I had found it handy at times, but also frustrating.

It being gone (plus Best Face and taking SS as you WATCH video) was the best part of the update...it was so annoying

Agreed. Maybe there could be an option of choosing only one side for it to zoom? Was a really handy way of zooming one-handed. I'd just gotten used to it. Understand the complaints completely but why just remove it?

There's no way to surf the web with just a thumb while holding the phone in one hand now. I was pissed when I discovered it was gone.

It would have been so easy to just make it an optional setting--why eliminate it completely??

Sure there's a way to surf the web with just one hand using your thumb. I do it all the time. There's just no way to zoom in on a page. My beef with it was that I kept zooming instead of scrolling, preventing me from surfing the web with one hand...but yeah, don't know why it couldn't have just been a selectable feature for the folks that did like it.

I have to laugh...I keep reading about HEALTHY people complaining about not being able to use their Android with one hand...buy a case with a kickstand and loop your middle finger through it as you hold your phone...double tap to zoom...and if you need to ''pinch'' its easy with this method...been disabled with only one GOOD hand for 10 years...used this method on 2 Androids...FYI...HAVE A FINE NAVY DAY!

Wearing gloves, standing on the subway. A kickstand isn't going to cut it. Double-tapping works ok on some sites, but not all.

You'll have to show me this magical internet that doesn't require zooming.

Maybe because I don't use the stock browser, but I seem to be able to zoom (if needed) by double-tapping the screen. Then my browser (naked browser) fits the webpage to my screen (desktop-to-mobile viewing). I don't usually have to do this. Almost all of my web requests are already in mobile viewing.

I use the stock browser but rarely need to zoom but I use reading glasses. That doesn't make it magical of course, but pretty darn close.

I got my fonts up high with close zoom...I do fine...you should look into Lazy Hands for smartphones (11.99 on Amazon)...I'm not saying my way is the BEST way...I just use it...I live in New England (USA), so I know about needing gloves...I wear half/finger gloves...there are also capacitive touch gloves but I don't use them
