last update lost side zoom?

I have to laugh...I keep reading about HEALTHY people complaining about not being able to use their Android with one hand...buy a case with a kickstand and loop your middle finger through it as you hold your phone...double tap to zoom...and if you need to ''pinch'' its easy with this method...been disabled with only one GOOD hand for 10 years...used this method on 2 Androids...FYI...HAVE A FINE NAVY DAY!

First off I mean no disrespect, and sorry about your hand. But how could you possibly know everyone here is "healthy"? And regardless, that is not the point. The point here is that at times we find ourselves using our phone with one hand....and during those times some of us thought the side zoom was very convenient. Those of us that feel this way think it'd be great to have the option. Those of you with other methods don't care. That doesn't mean your methods are convenient or comfortable to us. Again, not trying to disrespect or hate, just trying to make some of you understand that some people simply liked the side zoom feature, and in our minds for good reason.

I know folks get used to certain settings...the bezel zoom should've been a setting you could toggle from the beginning...I for one am glad its gone...I just thought it was funny...still do...whenever I was scrolling/web browsing one handed ('cause I have too) it would be annoying...oh well...IMPROVISE, ADAPT and OVERCOME...you can do it...its a cellphone...not the zombie apocalypse...HA!!!

When I first got my phone, it bugged me, but I quickly began using it and when it was taken away, I was very frustrated. I use my phone with one hand a lot, particularly when I am putting my infant to sleep. I could browse while holding him in one arm, but now I can't zoom and so most of the pages I would normally browse are useless because the font is so small. Here's hoping they bring it back with the option to turn it on or off, and even select just one side to use it on.

I got a Lazy-Hands thumbs free kit coming at the end of the week...I will have to post my opinion...its a new product (started in May '12)...LOOKS cool and useful

So IF anyone really needs to use their S3 (or any tech gear) you should check out lazy-hands.com...this is NOT any kinda endorsement AND you CAN find all you need to build them at any fabric store...I bought one then bought a bigger velcro back...its pretty great...and if you loop your middle and ring fingers you can (if YOUR fingers are long, too) you can ?pinch it? with your pointer and thumb...just a friendly FYI
