Latest android upgrade on s8 is too slow

I just got a message to upgrade software on my Samsung s8 ..I opted to upgrade the same. But this time upgrade is taking too much time..it's been more than n hr it's showing a message optimizing 92 of 92....I really don't know what to do now..I don't know how much more time it will take now.

Anyone else facing same issue? I don't know if I shud restart my phone ...this may corrupt all my apps...I don't knw what to do ..pls help.

Make sure it doesn't run out of battery - I had to have the carrier replace one phone because of that. (I always have my phones backed up, so that part didn't bother me.) But if it doesn't clear up overnight, I'd take it to the carrier and ask them for help.
