Latest Discussions page reloading...

I come to this site and click on the latest discussions tab and scroll down to find an interesting topic. When I click the topic it loads page one and I begin reading but it always reloads a few seconds later to the last page of the thread. I want it to stop doing this unless it is a thread I have previously read. It is super annoying and I cannot remember one single forum where this happens. Is there a way to fix this?

-Using OSX Mavericks if it matters.

If you are viewing from Desktop, then look under/next to your avatar on the top the forum page. Look for Settings, click on it and it will drop down more options. Select GENERAL SETTINGS.

Scroll down and find the section in the screenshot below. That determines how your threads are opened/viewed.
