i decided to try a couple of different roms. related to gingerbread. the roms required the latest radio and wimax flash. to which i did. but MAN did my battery get killed. 8 hours with very little use on a 3500 battery. i figured it was the rom so i tried another rom. no luck. so i went back to my stock root version 3.29. the battery still sucked.
had to reflash back to my previous radio and wimax. PROBLEM SOLVED. i'm back to having half my battery left when i get home at the end of day.
so if you try a different rom that requires the latest radio and wimax.
DON'T DO IT. not only will your battery get killed. but your interenet speeds will also suffer.
i haven't installed the latest 3.70 update as i've heard bad battery life. but if it has to do with upgrading the radio and wimax. THAT'S PROBABLY WHY.
if anyone has better luck. i'd like to hear there solution.
